Welcome to Woodland Institute!
The purpose of the site is to provide primary and interpretative sources on the world of the Bible and the world of the Restoration. You will find some exciting primary sources (journals, letters, documents, discourses, minutes, reminiscences, and photographs) and interpretive essays that will provide historical, cultural and linguistic context for the story of God’s work in the world.
Please browse through the menu so you can see the range of material we plan on providing our readers through this site. Although much of this is still under construction, a review of the menu will allow you to understand the scope of this Web site. We plan to update the site every two weeks with new material in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Each year we plan to expand our translation efforts to include new languages.
